Information We Collect

When you register for Biblathon, we collect:

  • Name and email address
  • Phone number (for event notifications)
  • Church or organization affiliation (optional)
  • Reading preferences (Bible version, language)

How We Use Your Information

  • To coordinate reading schedules and send reminders
  • To provide Zoom links and technical support
  • To improve the platform and event experience
  • To share impact reports (aggregate data only, never individual)

Data Sharing

We never sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Zoom (to create reading rooms)
  • WhatsApp/Twilio (for notifications, if you opt in)
  • Zoho CRM (for team coordination)

Your Rights

Under the GDPR and applicable data-protection law, you have the right to access, correct, and receive a copy of your personal data, and to request that we delete all personal data we hold about you(the “right to erasure”).

To exercise any of these rights — including asking us to erase all your personal data — email hello@biblathon.org. We will respond within 30 days. We may retain limited information where the law requires it or for legitimate operational reasons; we will tell you if that applies.

You can also stop receiving Biblathon notification emails at any time using the “Unsubscribe” link in any email, or from your profile settings. Account-security emails needed to access your account may still be sent.
